- Copay Per Session: Ask about your copay per session for mental health services. Copays can vary depending on your plan and whether the provider is in-network or out-of-network.

How often and how long are therapy sessions?
The duration and frequency of therapy sessions vary depending on individual needs and circumstances. Typically sessions are initially offered with more frequent session especially if you’re dealing with a crisis or acute issues, and then taper off as progress is made. Sessions may vary from weekly, biweekly or even monthly it all depends on the progress towards your goals and finding a schedule that feels manageable and supportive for you.
What if I cant make a session?
In order to respect your time and the time of the therapist we request A 48-hour notice to allows for adjustments to schedules and ensures that appointments can be offered to other clients if needed. No show appointments or cancelling in less that 48 hours will result in a charge. Clients are required to review and sign cancellation policies prior to the first session, this is a standard practice and helps establish clear expectations from the beginning of the therapeutic relationship.
Who is eligible for therapy services at Therapy BLIS?
Therapy BLIS offers individual, family and couples therapy. If a client is a minor child a parent/guardian must consent to treatment. Therapy BLIS can recommend higher level of care options if clinically required. We offer a free 10 min consultation gather information to ensure clients are appropriate for services.
What if I don’t have insurance?
If you qualify for husky we can assist you with the application for insurance. If you do not qualify for husky Therapy BLIS has self pay options.
Do I have to do sessions in person?
Therapy BLIS offers primarily virtual session with optional in-person sessions allowing you the capability of accessing services with less hassle and at your convenience. Clients can access virtual sessions through the client portal. It is important that you not share your login with anyone.
Is there medication management?
If you require medication services our Clinicians will make referral to a licensed psychiatrist and facilitate care coordination to ensure that your treatment needs are addressed.
What is case management?
Though therapy is the primary focus of treatment we understand that there maybe other barriers in your life that if addressed could help improve your overall mental health. Some examples of case management services may include assisting with applications for basic needs, additional resources or care coordination.
